Content Cage, Candela Capitán

Space: Nave Sierra
Dates:16-26 April, 2026
Performance: 23 April, 19h

Content Cage, by Candela Capitán, offers a critical perspective on contemporary systems of production that permeate both human and non-human bodies. Drawing a parallel between the dairy industry and digital content factories, the exhibition reveals how technology, surveillance, and performance shape new forms of exploitation—particularly of the female body. Sculptures, bodies, and an immersive sound environment construct a transforming ecosystem in which the organic and the artificial intertwine, giving form to a “cage” that no longer merely produces content, but captures, regulates, and redefines life under the logics of capitalism.

Project co-funded by the European Union through DIGITAL on STAGE.
