Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary - TBA21 in collaboration with MMMAD organizes the video-essay session 'New eco-digital narratives' at Sala Equis, where we will present several works from their st_age collection: an online platform that presents audiovisual artworks, animation, as well as research, conversations, podcasts and interviews with emerging and prominent voices in contemporary art.

Under the context of the MMMAD Festival we present 'The Ballad of the Dry Mermaids' by Patricia Domínguez, a video-essay critical with the situation of water privatization and avocado crops, which exposes local problems for global demands; 'All Bleeding Stops Eventually' by Will Benedict and Chus Martínez, in which an unlikely cast of endangered animals launches a message to humans: 'change your habits or die'. And, as guest artist, Juan Covelli will present his piece 'El Salto', a visual essay reflecting on European expeditions in America and the development of technologies.
