Open Call: digital art in the city
Space: public space (Clear Channel screens)
Dates:16-26 April, 2026
As part of its seventh edition, MMMAD Festival launches its annual open call to showcase digital art on Clear Channel’s urban screens across the city of Madrid. Once again, the festival transforms more than 300 screens throughout the city into “digital canvases.” This initiative aims to bring digital art closer to the general public in an open and free format, while offering emerging artists the opportunity to present their work to a wide audience.
The open call will run from February 17 to March 17. Digital artists from around the world are invited to submit video works of 10 seconds in length, in 9:16 (vertical) format, responding to this year’s theme, “Terms of Use.”
From all submissions received, the festival’s curatorial team will select five works, each awarded a €300 prize, to be screened on Clear Channel’s urban displays across Madrid from April 16 to 26.
